American Sniper
February 11th 2015, a trial began sparking a issue on post traumatic stress disorder and its effects on veterans. The trial is on Eddie Ray Routh a veteran marine, who is accused of killing Chris Kyle. Chris kyle is known for being the American Sniper, and having a biography made about him by Clint Eastwood. Chris Kyle, a former navy seal was known for killing 160 and more people in his ten years deployed in Iraq. Routh has confessed to killing Chris Kyle and his friend Littlefield. Chris Kyle was known for helping veterans and Routh happened to be one of them. Routh killed both Chris and Littlefield at a shooting range. Since then the prosecutors are trying to charge him with a life sentence with no parole. His lawyer is trying to get Routh off on an insanity plea due to his PTSD.
