No Water No Life
With the worlds population expected to hit 9 Billion people around 2050 already depleted ground water supplies seem to be running out. The UNs Water Development report claims that 20% of all ground water is already overexploited, and the problem will only worsen with a growing population. Alarmingly the report claims that by 2020 the world will have only 60% of the water it needs to operate. "Unless the balance between demand and finite supply is restored the world will face an increasingly severe global water deficit." More than ever we need to stop wasting our clean water.

Legalized Drugs in Potato Country
Ireland had a court ruling that resulted in legalization temporarily of many drugs. The case was over a Lithuanian man running a head shop selling the drug "cat". The outcome of the court's decision was that ecstasy, ketamine and crystal meth were legal in the country. Till legislation changes it. Which sent country into an emergency legislation to get the drugs off the streets and make them illegal yet again. The ruling does not cover pot, coke, and heroin. The court ruling made additions to the Misuse of Drugs act of 1977 in Ireland.

Belgium Coke
15 miles off the Belgian port of Ostend in the North Sea authorities found a ton of cocaine. Maritime police used a tugboat with a crane to collect the drugs and bring it to shore. The drugs were from a pilot boat, when personnel noticed the drugs in several duffel bags and threw it off the boat. The drugs were confiscated and valued at 50 million euros at least. To avoid customs and charges drug smugglers tend to abandon the drugs. With 2650 pounds of cocaine the authorities definitely scored this time.
Kill Yourself For Mother Earth
Every year nearly 40,000 Americans kill themselves, most are men, and most are done with guns. In fact more than half of American firearm deaths are from suicide. Suicide is difficult to predict and often many experts believe if you are intent on dying no matter what you'll find a way. What advocates against suicide are trying to do is suicide proof the world, which is quite hard. No matter how many fences there is. But one thing advocates are working towards is stricter gun laws, to make mentally ill people unable to own a gun. Which to me infringes on our constitutional rights. What they mean to do is find a way to keep guns and suicidal people away. But underlying mental illness isn't quite easy. Due to the subtleness of the symptoms of depression, which almost everyone experiences in their lifetimes.

Missing Man
IJanuary 29th 2013, Chalachew Seyoum was climbing a remote hill known to hold fossils when he looked into the sediment and saw a tooth, which was then connected to a mandible (jawbone). Seyoum who is a graduate student of paleontology had made a discovery of a bone that provides evidence of evolution. The jawbone being 2.8 million years old it's thought to be of homo habilis but it predates other fossils by 400,000 years. The jawbone is shown to be only 200,000 years younger than the more ape like evolutionary steps. Wednesday being the day that scientists of the Arizona university announced that they would begin reconstruction of Homo Habilis, this could have a major effect on the theory of evolution and hold that it is no longer a theory.
